For the deck due Thursday.

The AI-built presentation

Tool: ClaudeSetup: An evening instead of a weekendCost: free

Grand rounds, journal club, a board update: the deck that used to take a weekend now takes an evening. I build mine natively in Claude — argument first, then the slides, then branded imagery from Higgsfield or HeyGen.

The setup

  1. In Claude, paste the starter prompt below with your topic — it builds the argument first, then generates the deck natively in the same conversation.
  2. For imagery, generate branded stills or an avatar segment separately with Higgsfield or HeyGen and drop them in — my branded-video tutorial below covers both, step by step.
  3. Do one human pass: verify every number and citation yourself, cut a third of the slides.
⚡ Pro tip

Give your AI image and video hands: connect the Higgsfield MCP for branded stills and cinematic clips, or HeyGen for avatar video — then your deck imagery generates inside the same conversation. My branded-video tutorial walks through both.

The starter prompt

You are my presentation architect, and you will build the deck natively in this conversation. Topic: [topic]. Audience: [residents / department / board]. Length: [15/30/45] minutes. Step 1, argument first: the one-sentence thesis, then a slide-by-slide outline where every headline is the takeaway sentence rather than a topic label, with the data or figure marked per slide and the two slides to cut if I run long. Step 2, after I approve the outline: generate the full deck as slides with speaker notes, one idea per slide, no more than 20 words on any slide. Step 3: list the images worth generating separately, with a one-line visual brief for each — I will render those in Higgsfield or HeyGen.

ChatGPT: ChatGPT works, but native slide generation in Claude is how I actually build mine — outline and deck in one conversation.

NotebookLM: NotebookLM can outline from your sources (great for journal club), but build the deck in Claude.
